Cake or pie? Which do you prefer and what is your favorite?

I like pie better than cake. Key Lime is my all time favorite but do not get it much. I do like a good Carrot Cake.

Chocolate with Peanut Butter Icing (which I never knew even existed until I moved to Pennsylvania)

LOVE Key Lime but I also love a good cupcake.....hmmm? I think it is a toss up for me so I'll have a cookie instead.

oh no! I love them both and shouldn't be eating either. It seems we have cake more but French Apple and Cherry top my list for pie!!

I would probably choose cake over pie. And while I love Texas sheet cake, carrot cake is probably my favorite....with that yummy cream cheese icing!

I am a pastry lover so much better then candy. For me it depends on the kinda of cake or pie. Love both

This is a hard one! I'm not sure I could pick one over the other. I love oatmeal coconut cake, and blackberry cobbler, and German chocolate pie...not sure which I love more!

we really like pie in our house. There is a restaurant in the town where we lived in Illinois, run by a young man who learned piemaking from his grandma, and he makes the BEST coconut cream pie on the planet. Mom and I really miss him. Here in Colorado, there's a bakery that makes a great cherry pie. That's our current go-to treat right now. (They also have wonderful cherry turnovers)

I think I would choose most pies over most cakes. I love a good Hershey bar pie, or a tart lemon ice box pie, or a good homemade caramel pie.
