Do you do any canning at all?

I always do spaghetti sauce. I'm thinking I don't have to do a lot this year. I just priced tomatoes at the farmers market and they are anywhere for $20-$24 a box. That is up from last year. I know my niece got them for $18 this week so I will surely be checking put that place.

I don’t do any canning, but my kids always tell me that I should bottle my barbecue sauces.

I can a lot of different jams, whole tomatoes, sauce, salsa,pizza sauce, and many veggies. My garden was destroyed with all the rain we got so far and more on the way. I am going to have to buy Roma tomatoes. I also can venison and salmon.

Sorry to hear about losing your garden. That makes it tough after you went to all that work of planting. We could sure use some rain out here. I wish you could pipe it in!

Sounds like you have a winner. Do you make them from scratch as you use them?

Yes, I make them from scratch. I have 2 different recipes, but I don't know how to preserve them. I just make enough for the meal and some leftovers.
