Post by sdwhru »

As it is May Day, have any of you ever seen or participated in a maypole dance?

That looks like so much fun! I actually have had a maypole experience but not that clever cute dance. There was one in a park that we went to for a family reunion. We were all playing on it and jumping over the mud puddle below. I do remember falling in the puddle and then my Dad walking me back to the motel and squirting me off with the hose before I could change my clothes. It was very cold water. How could I forget. I was probably 9.
