RQOTD.... Nov. 14, 2017

Do you have any family traditions for Thanksgiving?

We watch the parade (for me it's in between meal prep) then after dinner is cleaned up we start a Christmas scene puzzle. Then in evening we all watch polar Express and at the appropriate time my daughter serves everyone fancy hot chocolates (still can't get her to serve it like they do in the movie.lol)

When Kyle was coming up I would cook Thanksgiving dinner while he and Jack brought the Christmas decorations down from the attic. They would stand the tree up and I would fluff/spread the branches in between cooking. While I finished dinner they would hang the garland. After dinner and the kitchen was cleaned up we would add the decorations.......I miss those days. Now days I go to my sisters for dinner alone because Kyle or Jack is usually working that day. This year I will be boarding 3 little Dachshunds so I will be going alone again this year while Jack stays home with the dogs. Kyle will be working during the day and Jack will be working that night.
