Do you go to regular doctor appts? or just when you are in need of care?

I used to just go once a year for a physical. But now that I have diabetes, she thinks I need to come more. Sometimes it is annoying and you feel like the time is wasted so this time I pushed it out an extra two months. I'm not looking forward to being scolded this morning. I am so BAD at giving up some foods.
I also have different appointments to cool doctors for my pulmonary hypertension. But I don't count those because they are definitely necessary.

i see my regular doctor every 6 months and my neurologist every 3 months, course I might be able to push the neurologist out a bit except I get botox injections every 3 months. the worst part about the neurologist is she is 2.5 hours away , so five hours in the car every three months is a royal pain
