11/13 - Friday Challenge

November brings so many events and opportunities for us to gather — Thanksgiving, football games, parties, and parades. When we imagine “gathering together,” The Peanuts Gang immediately comes to mind. Join us all month long as we challenge you to complete your own layouts about coming together ...with a Peanuts twist!
My character is Sally Brown. The sweet, lovable, slightly eccentric and very argumentative little sister of Charlie Brown. And we can't forget that she has a crush on Linus. I also noticed that Sally always wore either a pink or blue polka dot dress. And of course we can’t forget her yellow hair!
So for my challenge, in honor of Sally, you must use both pink and blue polka dots with some yellow on your layouts (The yellow doesn’t have to be polka dots) along with our gathering together theme.
My layout is our family gathering at Disney to celebrate my granddaughter’s 10th birthday.
A new Blue Plate Special challenge will be posted every Monday (sketch), Wednesday, and Friday. All participants have until the 3rd of the following month to complete and post their creations.
Prize will be a $20 Gift Certificate to their favorite online store (random drawing).....
