We have a membership to Sam's Club but rarely ever used it until just recently. . . Jackie and I usually go when she's visiting, but Shawn and I have been going fairly often these days as well, and not just for gas!! No Costco or BJs around here.
We belong to both. We have had a business memberships for years and yes it has paid for itself. My DH was able to use it when he was at the Southern border when he went every other day and bought r bread, ham and cheese and underwear for one of the shelters they were redoing. We were sent a $500 rebate for the amount that was spent during those weeks.
I have the Sam's Club Plus Membership. Kyle and I both have a lot of animals and we purchase a lot of litter, wet cat food and wet dog food. Kyle also goes once a month to stock up on frozen items and paper products and I usually have mine shipped to the house. It's been worth it for us because our nearest Sam's is an hour drive there and another hour drive home.
We live close to several. I had a Costco membership for 30 years that my boss paid for. DH has Sams cub. So when my boss retired I lost the Costco one. A year ago we signed up for the Sand club Visa card. E put everything on it and get cash back. We only go there every couple of months and when we do we use the cash to offset our purchase. In Jan we had $179 and a week ago we had $41 when I went.
We love it!’
I’ve had both in the past; I prefer Costco over Sam’s. There is finally one closer to us now but since it is just the two of us I haven’t taken the plunge and gotten a membership yet.
