I love to be in the water either place--beach or the pool however I cannot really swim. Cannot put my face in the water. I can sidestroke or backstroke but don't ask me to do the front crawl. I have taken lessons and have taught lessons but when I try to breathe I drown. Something about the lack of cartilage in my nose.
I loved swimming as a kid. We had a pool. As an adult I do enjoy swimming in a pool. I do swim underwater. At the beach I mostly just walk in the edge where I can get my feet wet
I can swim but not very well. I grew up on the beach and I just love playing in the waves. I prefer the beach over a pool....I just don't like the chlorine on my skin.
Never learned to swim so I can stay away from the beach or pool life and I'm ok with that. Now that I am on oxygen it isn't an option anyway. I did used to like the hot tub though.
I've been around water most of my life. My parents live on a lake and they had a place at the beach for many many years.
My sister and I learned to swim at an early age. Although, after having a pool of my own, I much prefer swimming in a pool. However, I do like to walk the strand and get my feet wet when I'm at the beach.
