I joined Walmart + yesterday at $98 a year. I'm supposed to be able to save on prescriptions, gas at our local Murphy stations, as well as having items shipped for free. Fingers crossed it's better than the Sam's Club Plus. They also offered free shipping which is the reason I joined, but they changed on what items were available for shipping and what items had to be picked up at the store. Since I live an hour away from the nearest Sam's I thought it was a good investment, but nope.
Keep us updated as I DETEST going into the store and prefer things delivered but I live far enough away I can’t get them to necessarily deliver to my door. It’s weird - if an item is to be shipped and they have it at a store near me they will deliver it to my house. Sometimes even if it is one item; I don’t really understand it. I’m like 12+ miles from the nearest Wal-Mart. There are 3 Super Wal-Marts and some of the neighborhood markets in our town.
