Sunday 16th January 2022

Post by Mauds papercraft »

Morning / Evening all
I cannot believe we are already half way through the month
Today has been another warm day 30 degree Celsius or 86 Fahrenheit. The humidity has not been as high and I was able to get a number of things done. its been so busy this last week, our daughter came to visit so a number of family meals and outings with our son , daughter in law and granddaughter and also our daughters brother in law lives locally so quite hectic not use to cooking for 7 or 8 people and I now know my back does not like the standing position and I hate sitting for meal prep.
Back to the Specialist tomorrow to check on my spinal inserts.
So another busy week
Today really was quite restfully. Caught up on Birthday cards, and a Design Team Post still need to add it
to my blog though. I will do that after tea. Using up the last of the left overs so nothing exciting
Hope you all have a good Sunday and maybe get a sleep in like I did this morning.

Good Morning or at least what's left of it!

I woke up to very heavy rain and wind today. The rain was so heavy I could barely make out the house across the street from us. I'm surprised all my potted plants didn't get knocked over. It quieted down for a bit and the wind is starting to pick back up, looks like we're in for another round of rain. It is definitely a stay at home day here. I've got laundry going and then plan on scrapping. Dh will be screaming at the tv soon while watching the Bucs this afternoon so I'll need to close myself up in my scraproom. :D

Stay safe everyone that's in the path of this storm!

Good Morning!!

My brother texted us all last night to say my Dad wasn't doing well so he is sleeping over at his house. Hope it is just old age and not the omnicron since I was with him a couple of days ago. Apparently you have it for a couple of days before you get symptoms and then you isolate for another three days and you're good to go back in public wearing a mask. He told us that you could be in an elevator with someone who gets off on another floor than you, you think you are alone so you pull down your mask and if the person who exited the elevator had it then you can get it. Stay masked up in public places for your own safety!! It is the craziest!!!
Today we are hopefully going to my grandson's birthday party. I would hate to miss it! He is a cute three year old now. They are having tacos. We also have in person church today since I have to teach Sunday School.
Happy Sunday!!

good afternoon, ladies -

Dinner is in the crockpot, and I just rushed G out the door to go get tested for Covid so he can return to classes tomorrow. Nothing like waiting until the last minute, and letting time get away from you. I'm hoping he makes it there by four. Then he and a kid from school will be going bowling afterwards. The snow is supposed to start anytime now. . . but I believe we're only going to get 6-8 inches at this point and Garrett has been instructed to be absolutely careful and to take it super slow. . .

I'm gonna finish an episode or two of Manifest as it's just me, and then I'll probably start the layout that I was going to start yesterday but never did . . .

Good afternoon everyone. Omicron has hit my house...my younger daughter has it. I don't feel great, but still testing negative. Ugh.... And was really hoping for snow today. I think my soul needs a beautiful snow to watch from my house...but alas...it's hitting just to the east of us....So Tammy, enjoy. I'm so hoping we get something this winter. Anyway, I hope you all have a good day and stay safe from Covid, bad weather, etc.

Our crazy winds finally let up and I've been working on sorting through some of my new scrappy stuff. In between trying to clean out a few things here and there but I am still taking it really easy as my right hip is still really sore. Now gonna go open up my scrapbook goodies that were delivered last night at 7:30
