As soon as Shawn finishes up with his work (he brings it home with him), and I wash the last load of laundry, we talked about taking a day trip somewhere....not sure where yet, but hopefully we'll do something.
If we opt to stay home, I plan on working on about 7 layouts that "I've started and never quite finished", and try to get them in the books. I soooooo am the queen of unfinished projects!
My older son and his family moved and I was busy entertaining his two little boys. For the past four months they have rented a house a short walk from mine and I have loved it. But repairs are now finished on the boiler at their house so they were able to move back home. They still live close by, but it is now a ten minute drive.

I finished two layouts this morning, mowed the lawn, burned two trees that we lost in the last storm (still burning - so much brush!), worked on graduation lists, and now am back to scrap a bit more and make dinner.
Mostly I sat in my scrap room wasting time. I've started a pocket style 12 x 12 album for vacations past, and I haven't done any pocket scrapping for a long time so I can't decide how to proceed. I'm appalled at the poor quality of my Hilton Head photos. They were taken in 1995 before digital, probably with an instamatic camera. But "it is what it is," so I'm doing what I can with them. It's the memories that count, right?
It was market day for me and it was a pretty good one. So glad to be home though. I think I got maybe 3 hours of sleep last night. I had to take Jeffrey to the vet to have his stitches removed and when I got back I had to bake and bag. I finished up about 9:30 but just couldn't wind down enough to fall asleep. If I have trouble again tonight, I will take a xannax.
