So, today is National Spaghetti Day... tell me about your sauce? What do you put in your homemade sauce? What type of tomatoes do you use? With or without meatballs/meat? What kind of noodles??
I use canned plum tomatoes and chop them up with an immersion blender and add canned tomato sauce,onion, garlic, mushrooms, wine, oregano, basil, parsley and bay leaves. Sometime I add ground beef or make my own meatballs. I always make a huge pot so I can freeze some.
funny you should ask. I just did this layout last night~ The only spaghetti sauce I will eat is my home made!! this is Sept 2007 I make it almost every year!
