It's National Spaghetti Day

So, today is National Spaghetti Day... tell me about your sauce? What do you put in your homemade sauce? What type of tomatoes do you use? With or without meatballs/meat? What kind of noodles??

Typically good store bought sauce that we add mushrooms or meetballs to.

we buy store brand and we just add stuff to that we like it with sausage spaghetti

I use canned plum tomatoes and chop them up with an immersion blender and add canned tomato sauce,onion, garlic, mushrooms, wine, oregano, basil, parsley and bay leaves. Sometime I add ground beef or make my own meatballs. I always make a huge pot so I can freeze some.

funny you should ask. I just did this layout last night~ The only spaghetti sauce I will eat is my home made!! this is Sept 2007 I make it almost every year!

I prefer baked spaghetti and I make my own sauce as well with meat. I also prefer a thinner noodle so I use vermicelli or angle hair.

Has to be a certain brand name when we have spaghetti which is almost every 6 months
