Google Fiber Internet

Just Curious if any of you have this service in your area. Google Fiber

It is a new internet that is suppose to be faster than comcast and all the others. Verizon in our area has a dead spot for our house, yet the ones on a street over, same place had service just fine. Our community is getting it and we will probably go with it because comcast just raised our monthly payment $20 and google fiber is suppose to be cheaper. They are digging our lines today so I had to drive over a pile of dirt at the end of our driveway. They are super quick and have a crew come right behind and clean it up.

This is the first time I hear of it. We have Spectrum.

Never heard of it. Our community has Opticaltel for internet and cable and it is horrible but it's cheap....you get what you pay for.

No, we have OEC fiber - it is great and so much cheaper than AT&T, etc. It is run by the co-op when they branched out from electricity - big business could learn a lot from them….
