Random Question of the Day - 02/19/2024

Post by tammyfolk »

What is/was your family's favorite game to play? Do you still play it? Is it just assumed that it'll get played during family gatherings?

Scrapbooking....is there really anything else?

Poker. It only gets played if my brother is present at the family gatherings. He's a big card player, Texas Hold'em is his favorite.

Our favorites used to be Risk, Uno, Trivia, and Monopoly. We have different versions of the games. When we get together Jorgie usually has a game he wants us to try. During the Christmas break we played a Ted Laso game based on the show.
When we get together at my mom's house we play Mexican bingo.

When I was a kid, my cousins and I would play Battleship for hours at a time. When I was older my parents and I would play Scrabble just about every night after dinner.

As kids we played Monopoly a lot. Just a long game. Then later we played Uno and Skip Bo with my mom. Now we do not play :(

My grandkids like to play spot on and a new Disney trivia card game our granddaughter gave me for Christmas! Our youngest grandson always has to play a game of fishing every time the come to visit. It's the magnetic fish that open there mouths while rotating and your fishing pole scoops them up.
Monopoly was my favorite as a kid.

Wahoo is what we played lots. Also different types of dominoes - especially moon, train, etc. Plus all sorts of card and board games, too.
