Random Question of the Day - 02/14/2024

Today is Valentine's Day . . . will you do anything special today? Will you wait until the weekend? Or, is it just another day?

We exchange the same gifts every year. He gives me my favorite chocolates and I give him his favorite nuts. Sometimes we go out to eat but this year I'm fixing his favorite meal that he's been asking for the past couple of weeks. It's America Chop Suey which to me is just beefaroni but that's what they call it in New England.

We don't usually do anything special. DH's birthday is this Saturday. He's sitting with his Mom today and is bringing home a pizza.

We have Valentines to deliver to the grandkids so we are headed there this afternoon! I am making manicotti stuffed shells for dinner . It's a red sauce so that counts for Valentines, right? For breakfast I made an oatmeal muffin in a mug with berries. I found the recipe last night and it was pretty yummy! It is too crowded to ever go out on the actual Valentines Day!

Hoka sneakers are the best! Most expensive sneakers I have ever bought, but worth every penny! Congratulations!

Jorge sent me 2 dozen roses to school. We went to Red Lobster for dinner. We usually go out for dinner during Valentine’s Day. It used to be like another Mother’s Day when the boys were little.
